Why are babies prone to diarrhea in summer?

Every change in the baby after birth is watched by the mother. Because many new mothers do not understand the baby's growth and development very well, sometimes their judgment of the baby's physical condition is not very accurate. From birth to adulthood, every day is very difficult for babies, and mothers worry about their babies growing up healthily. It is common for babies to have diarrhea. Let me tell mothers why babies are prone to diarrhea in summer?

1. Why are babies nowadays prone to diarrhea? It’s because of this situation.

1. Because the intestines and stomachs of children are not yet fully developed, their bactericidal ability is relatively poor. If they drink too much in the summer, the microscopic bacteria will be diluted, causing bacteria to easily penetrate the stomach acid barrier, enter the gastrointestinal tract, and cause diarrhea.

2. Children have less digestible enzymes in their stomachs, which is not conducive to food digestion. If you are not careful when eating food, it will cause indigestion and lead to diarrhea.

Unclean or too cold food. In the hot summer weather, if the baby does not eat too much raw and cold fruits and vegetables, the stomach and intestines will easily enter his body, causing the baby to have digestive disorders, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.

4. If you often use air conditioning at home in summer, the temperature will be dozens of degrees different from the outdoor temperature. If you are not well cared for, the changing temperature environment will make weak babies easy to catch a cold. When they suffer from other diseases, their gastrointestinal function will be seriously changed, so the chance of diarrhea will increase.

5. If parents catch a cold and the baby does not do much to keep warm while sleeping, it is easy for the baby to catch a cold and cause diarrhea.

6. The temperature is higher in summer, and it is easy to get infected and the growth is fast. This is also one of the reasons for the increase of infection. If the mother is not careful about the spoilage of various foods and water or the baby's hygiene concept, the baby will put in dirty hands, take food, and put it in his mouth. The baby's unhygienic diet will easily make him sick.

2. What symptoms will occur when the baby has diarrhea?

1. Mild cases may cause 58 bowel movements per day, which may be accompanied by a mild fever, or vomiting, green stools with mucus, the appearance of sunflower eggs, and slight bloating and tidal sounds.

2. Moderate diarrhea, with ten bowel movements a day and loose, watery stools that have a sour and foul odor, may be a sign of a moderate fever.

3. Severe cases with frequent abdominal distension, 8-15 bowel movements a day, a lot of bowel movements, very smelly, very irritable, sleepy, withered, and even unable to be woken up, bloody mucus in stool, dehydrated lips, etc.

4. Ordinary patients will show obvious dehydration and poisoning, and decomposition system disorders such as low salt or low magnesium.
