Many children catch a cold several times a year, which is a very common symptom. The main symptoms of a cold are cough, headache, dizziness, loss of appetite and no appetite for food. Some children also have diarrhea, or dry stools, which are all common and need to be taken seriously in time. If necessary, it is best to take the child to the hospital for examination, as there may be other conditions besides the cold. Cold is a common disease in children and can occur all year round. There are many medicines for treating children's colds. Some families have a "small first aid box". When their children catch a cold, they do not go to the hospital but give their children the cold medicine stored at home, or they go to the pharmacy to buy medicine for their children themselves. This is very dangerous. The ingredients can inhibit the bone marrow hematopoietic system, affect the production and growth of blood cells in children, lead to leukopenia and granulocytopenia, reduce children's immunity, and some can cause toxic liver damage. When a baby has a cold, it is advisable to eat liquid or soft food, and the baby should temporarily reduce the amount of milk; the room temperature should be stable, not too high or too low; the indoor relative humidity should be in the range of 50% to 60%. If the baby has symptoms of diarrhea, mothers can fry white flour in a clean iron pan until it turns slightly yellow. Then take some fried noodles, add a peeled banana, cook it into a paste in a milk pan, and feed it to the child while it is hot; peel apples and boil water for the baby to drink, or you can fry rice and boil water for the baby to drink scorched rice soup; make carrot puree, take an appropriate amount of fresh carrots, wash and cut into small pieces, add water to boil or steam them, take out the carrots and mash them into a paste, then add the water used to boil the carrots and mix well, add about 100 ml of carrot water for every 5 to 10 grams of carrot puree; steam apple puree, steamed apples have a good antidiarrheal effect, eat 2 to 3 times a day on average. If the child's diarrhea has not been relieved, it is recommended that you go to the hospital to see the cause. Otherwise, if the condition is serious, it is likely caused by gastroenteritis or other reasons. Coughing may also be caused by pneumonia or bronchitis. If it is not taken seriously in time, the condition will worsen. |
