What causes dermatitis and eczema in children?

Generally, children will have dermatitis and eczema after they are born. Many parents feel very confused about this phenomenon. Because children's skin is relatively delicate, they will not be exposed to bad things on a daily basis, so there should not be such a phenomenon. But in fact, there must be reasons for children's dermatitis and eczema, so you must know it so that you can help regulate your child's body in time.

A common skin disease in children. Most of them can heal themselves, but a few can extend to infancy or childhood. Children with infant eczema are prone to develop other allergic diseases in the future, such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, etc.

Causes of eczema

From the internal cause point of view, the stratum corneum of our infants and young children's skin is only 1/3 thick than that of adults, which is very thin. In addition, the capillary network is very rich, and the endothelial cells contain more water and chloride, and are more sensitive to various stimuli, so infants and young children are prone to eczema.

Another internal factor is that eczema has a genetic tendency. If a child's parents have allergic constitution and suffer from eczema, the child's eczema rate is much higher than other children.

There are also external factors. A common cause is allergy. If a child eats something that causes an allergic reaction, such as milk protein, even though some children are exclusively breastfed, they may still develop eczema.

Some ingredients in shrimp, eggs, and milk that the mother eats may cause allergies in the newborn through breast milk.

Most rashes occur on the cheeks, forehead, between the eyebrows and head. In severe cases, rashes may also appear on the chest, back and limbs. The initial rash is erythema, and later it becomes a rash with small dot-like protrusions or a blister-like rash (medically called papules or herpes), which is very itchy. The herpes can break and ooze fluid, which forms a scab when the fluid dries. Eczema is often distributed symmetrically.

After reading this explanation by the editor, you must now know the reasons why your child has dermatitis and eczema. Then you can treat your child according to the above reasons. Early treatment can make your child recover faster, which is very helpful for the girl's body and can also make you feel at ease.
