At how many months can they start to add complementary foods? Or at what stage should they add what kind of nutrition is best? So now babies will grow up smart and healthy. So do you know what kind of diet should be for your baby when he is seven or eight months old? New mothers can take a look at this.

July - September dietary supplement method:

1. When the deciduous teeth have erupted, solid food such as biscuits, bread slices, steamed bread slices, etc. should be added in time to promote tooth growth and train chewing and feeding ability;

3. Daily milk intake should not exceed 800ml;

4. You can add porridge, noodles, chopped vegetables, minced meat, fish paste, liver paste, and whole eggs;

This period is a sensitive period for learning chewing and feeding: 4 times of milk as the main meal, 1 meal of rice and 1 time of fruit as the complementary meal. Learning to use a cup: Gradually transition to 3 meals of cereal and 2-3 feedings.

During this period, the nutritional requirements for infants are higher, teeth begin to grow, and digestive function is greatly improved. The added complementary food should have a significant change in quality.

Whole eggs, minced meat and soy products are rich in animal and plant protein.

The liver contains not only protein, carbohydrates, and fat, but also iron and other inorganic salts, and a large amount of various vitamins. It is a rare nutritional product.

Tofu is high in protein and easy to digest;

Red beans are also rich in vitamins and iron.

Vegetables not only contain a lot of vitamins, but also contain dietary fiber, which is an essential factor for the growth of infants' digestive function.

From 8 months onwards, you can gradually add whole eggs, minced pork, minced chicken, liver, tofu and red bean paste. Poultry eggs can be steamed or boiled and mashed before feeding. The powder or puree can be added to porridge. In addition, some tender chopped vegetable leaves can be gradually added to the porridge. All of these foods should be started with half a teaspoon, twice a day, and gradually increased. You can only try one new food at a time. Once you observe the stool and see that it is well digested and does not cause allergies, you can continue to add new varieties. The rice porridge cooked at this stage only needs to be soft and there is no need to make it into a paste.

You can also eat soft noodles with minced liver, minced meat, minced tofu and chopped vegetable leaves added. During this period, babies begin to grow teeth, and you can give them some biscuits, crackers or toasted bread slices to chew. This will not only promote the eruption of teeth and cultivate chewing habits, but also aid digestion.

Vegetable oils provide high calories and contain unsaturated fatty acids, and can also increase the flavor of food. Among them, unsaturated fatty acids (including DHA/AA) are very beneficial to the development of children's nervous system. Experience has shown that infants and young children have excellent tolerance to vegetable oils, which is even more beneficial for infants with small appetites and insufficient feeding, so it should be added in a timely manner. Babies can start eating vegetable oil from 5-6 months old. Cooked vegetable oil can be added when making rice porridge, vegetable puree, noodle soup, egg custard, minced meat and liver puree. Start with 1-3 grams and gradually increase to 5-10 grams per day.

Of course, many babies nowadays are born to only children, so it can be said that babies carry the hopes and joys of many relatives, so the healthy growth of babies is very important.
