Why does the newborn have a headache when eating milk?

Many parents and friends have encountered this problem, that is, they always mention that the nipple hurts when chewing milk, and sometimes they can't even continue to breastfeed their children. It can be said that it is miserable. We have to say that being a mother is hard. However, under normal circumstances, symptoms of nipple pain will not appear, because after all, the baby is still young, and some have not grown teeth yet. It may be caused by other reasons. So why does the newborn have a headache when drinking milk?

Generally speaking, nipple pain while breastfeeding is caused by improper posture! I never felt any pain when my baby was breastfeeding! Correct posture - the mother sits with a pillow or cushion on her legs, and gently holds the baby in her arms. With the other hand, separate the thumb and palm and gently rub the breast. Do not pinch the nipple with two fingers! The most important thing is to make sure your baby latches on to all or most of your areola.

When the baby is feeding in the correct position, you can vaguely see his little tongue and the milk bubbles flashing at the corners of his mouth. At the beginning, the mother has to work harder and not lie down, as that would make the baby uncomfortable. After a long time, when the breastfeeding technique is more mature, you can try breastfeeding in a lying position. Although women are born with the ability to give birth, it is necessary to practice the skills of feeding children.

If the child's nipples hurt while breastfeeding, it seems that mothers need to improve their breastfeeding techniques. Because breastfeeding is a long-term thing for children, it will take at least one or two years, which will be a great test for the mother. If breastfeeding causes some difficulties, it will cause some unnecessary trouble. I hope parents will pay a little attention. If it really doesn't work, it is better to go to the hospital to consult a doctor.
