What are the prescriptions for rectal medication in children?

Pediatric rectal disease is a relatively serious condition, so how to use the medicine is even more of a headache. The child's body is very reactive to certain things, which means that we must pay special attention to our medication. So the editor here would like to introduce you to the prescription for pediatric rectal medication. I don't know how much you know about it. If you need to know more, let's take a closer look!

1. The cause of fever in children is mostly infection, including bacterial infection, viral infection and fungal infection. You can first take acetaminophen orally and take isatis indigotica oral liquid. If you feel unwell, check again at any time. It is recommended to pay great attention to the fever exceeding 38 degrees in the future. You can first cool down physically at home, such as cold compress on the forehead, drink plenty of water, or take antipyretic drugs or use antipyretic suppositories in the rectum.

2. For rectal administration in children, topical medications are generally used, but injections can also be used for treatment. It is recommended to avoid blind administration of medication as much as possible to avoid possible damage to the rectal wall. It is recommended that you go to the hospital to test the trace elements. You can take Chinese medicine to regulate your spleen and stomach and enhance your resistance. Generally speaking, Western medicine enema is more common for reducing fever and stopping convulsions, while Chinese medicine enema can be tried for treatment.

3. Different drugs are used for rectal administration to treat different diseases. For example, for patients with constipation who have not defecated for several days, soap water enema is also a form of rectal medication.

Describe your condition, symptoms, medical history, and treatments in detail so that the doctor can provide you with better answers. Rectal medication is delivered via rectal tube insertion.

4. There are four main situations of rectal lymphatic return:

① The lymphatic return of the rectum above the peritoneal reflection mainly flows upward along the lymphatic vessels around the superior rectal artery;

② The rectum below the peritoneal reflection mainly flows upward, and part of it flows upward laterally through the obturator lymph nodes, internal iliac lymph nodes and common iliac lymph nodes;

③ The tumor is located under the peritoneal reflection, close to or invading the anal canal at the dentate line. In this case, lymphatic drainage flows in three directions: upward, laterally and upward, and downward through the anal canal and perineum to the superficial inguinal lymph nodes.

④ Anal canal tumors that do not invade the anal canal mainly flow back to the perineum and groin; those that invade above the anal canal are the same as the third situation.

I can't introduce much to you here, but I sincerely hope that you can use these situations. The health of children is one of our biggest concerns. You all don't want your children to have any problems, so I can introduce so much to you here! I also hope that your children are healthy!
