How to treat baby drooling chin eczema

Infant eczema, also known as milk rash, is a common skin disease in children. Since babies often drool, it is more likely to cause eczema, and childhood eczema is more likely to recur. In addition, baby drooling is also an abnormal phenomenon and also needs treatment. Let me share with you how to treat baby drooling chin eczema.

The remedies for drooling diet are as follows:

If the spleen and stomach are weak and cold: eat warming and spleen-strengthening porridge. Stir-fry Atractylodes macrocephala 6g, dried ginger 5g, Astragalus membranaceus 10g, licorice 3g, decoct the juice, remove the residue and take water. Use this water to add 100g of glutinous rice to cook porridge. Take twice a day. Eat for five to ten days. The symptoms of this are: clear saliva. Pale complexion, cold limbs. The stool is loose. The urine is clear and long. The tongue is pale and the coating is white. If the drooling is caused by heat accumulation in the spleen and stomach: Eat mung bean and licorice soup: use 30g of mung bean and 5g of licorice, decoct them into a soup and give it to the child frequently. Take one dose every day for a week and you will see the effect. The symptoms of this are: hot and sticky saliva and sore corners of the mouth. Bad breath, thirst, irritability. Constipation. The urine is short and dark, and the tongue is red with yellow coating.

Eczema Treatment

Chinese medicine prescription:

Recipe 1: 30 grams each of dandelion, wild chrysanthemum, and Dictamni, and 20 grams of Stemona japonica. Add 2000 ml of water to the above Chinese medicines, soak for 15 minutes, and then boil for 15 minutes. When the liquid medicine has cooled down, take a piece of clean gauze (four or five layers thick), soak it in the liquid medicine, and then apply it to the affected area for about 15 minutes, twice a day. If the eczema area is large, you can also use medicated bath method.

Recipe 2: Put appropriate amounts of pepper, mugwort and salt into water and boil for half an hour. Filter and add the juice to water for bathing. Sichuan pepper can reduce inflammation and relieve itching; Artemisia argyi has a calming and anti-allergic effect, and the therapeutic effect is quite good.

Recipe three: 30 grams of Xanthium sibiricum, 15 grams of Cnidium monnieri, 15 grams of Phellodendron chinense, 15 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 15 grams of Sophora flavescens, 15 grams of Radix Atractylodes, 15 grams of Phellodendron chinense, and 15 grams of Kochia scoparia. Decoction in water, take the filtrate and wash the affected area after it cools down. Take 1 dose per day, wash once in the morning, noon and evening. This is the dosage for children aged 2 to 3 years old. For children under 1 year old, reduce the dosage by 1/3. Function: Detoxify, eliminate dampness, eliminate rashes and spots.

Recipe 4: 9 grams of Cnidium monnieri, 9 grams of Lonicera japonica, 9 grams of Wild Chrysanthemum, and 6 grams of Raw Licorice. Boil them in water and use for external washing or wet compress, 2 to 3 times a day, each time for about 10 minutes.

Systemic therapy

1. Diet management First, avoid feeding too much food to maintain normal digestion. If you suspect you are allergic to milk, boil it for a longer time to denature the protein and reduce the allergens. If necessary, goat milk or soy milk can be used instead of milk. If egg white allergy is suspected, give egg yolk alone, or start with a small amount of egg white and gradually increase the amount. Breastfeeding mothers can stop eating eggs.

2. Antihistamine drugs such as chlorpheniramine, phenacamine, diphenhydramine, and isoproterenol taken orally alone or in turns have good antipruritic and anti-allergic effects, and have varying degrees of sedative effects. Non-sedating antihistamines, such as astemizole and terfenadine. Antihistamines with sedative effects are preferred over the latter

3. Whether taken orally or intravenously, corticosteroids can quickly control symptoms and have obvious anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects. However, they are prone to relapse after discontinuation of the drug and cannot be cured. Long-term use can cause dependence and various adverse reactions, so they should be used with caution as appropriate. For patients with generalized acute eczema who do not respond well to other treatments, oral prednisone can be taken for a short period of time and the dosage can be gradually reduced as the condition improves.

4. Antibiotics are only used for children with secondary local or lymph node infections, increased white blood cell count and increased body temperature. Generally, intramuscular injection of penicillin or oral administration of erythromycin or co-trimoxazole is used.

The above treatment methods for baby drooling and chin eczema can be chosen according to the baby's situation. In addition, it is best to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment under the guidance of a doctor. In addition, you need to pay attention to the baby's personal hygiene, ventilate the room frequently, and be careful not to let the baby eat too much, so as not to be detrimental to the baby's development. I wish you good health.
