Nursing during the growth phase of a baby

From the moment a tiny baby is born, it takes a long process to watch him grow up slowly. During this process, parents and friends all have a deep understanding of this. Everyone hopes to have a good judgment and ability at each stage of the child's growth and development. The following article will introduce the stages of baby growth.

?1, 0-3 months

1. Breastfeeding

Breast milk is the sweet spring for babies, especially babies under 3 months old are more dependent on the nourishment of breast milk. Although breast milk looks watery, it tastes sweet because it contains less protein and more sugar (carbohydrates).

Some mothers always think that their breast milk looks like water and has no nutrition. Looking at their babies crying for food, many mothers are always worried that they are not full and can't wait to change their milk supply to formula. In fact, breast milk is definitely the delicacy that babies are most obsessed with, and no other dairy product can replace it.

2: Formula

In the past few years, with the joint promotion of several major infant formula manufacturers, the concept of feeding with breast milk formula has become deeply rooted in people's minds. For various reasons, many mothers cannot fulfill their natural mission of breastfeeding their babies and need to rely on formula feeding.

3. Cod liver oil

Babies aged 0-3 months need to add cod liver oil, which often precedes the need for calcium supplements. Therefore, if you go to the hospital for a follow-up check-up, don’t forget to ask the doctor to prescribe cod liver oil for your baby, and be sure to ask about the appropriate dosage. Typically, one capsule of Icoxin is taken daily. The formula for children under 1 year old contains 500 micrograms of vitamin D, and the formula for children over 1 year old contains 700 micrograms of vitamin D. Cod liver oil is rich in vitamins A and D, which can promote the baby's absorption and utilization of calcium and ensure the development of bones and nerves. About 400 micrograms of vitamin D are needed every day. However, excessive intake of vitamins A and D can easily accumulate in the body and cause poisoning reactions. Therefore, it is important to strictly adhere to dosage when supplementing with cod liver oil.

4. Fruit and vegetable juice

Fruit and vegetable juice is the "meal" that mothers should prepare for babies aged 0-3 months. Babies can start trying vegetable juice, orange juice (diluted at 50%), tomato juice, watermelon juice, carrot juice, and even hawthorn juice. It can provide natural vitamins. For babies aged 0-3 months, the vitamin C in breast milk can no longer meet their needs.

5. Water

Before the full month, the baby generally does not need additional water. If the baby has a fever, sweats a lot, is constipated, or the mother's milk is insufficient, or artificial feeding is insufficient, then he needs to be fed some warm water, but try not to add sugar.

Babies over 1 month old can be fed water regularly every day, or they can be hydrated with fruit and vegetable juice.

In the above article, we learned about the growth stages of infants. First of all, based on the different growth stages of each child, how do we determine whether the child’s body is developing normally? There are different ways to remind your child of good physical judgment.
