How to take a child's temperature

There are many ways to take a child's temperature. 1. Head temperature sticker. For uncooperative babies, ordinary thermometers will not be able to measure properly, but the head temperature patch, just stick it on the baby's head, it is very convenient to use. 2. Axillary temperature measurement method. This is the same as our usual temperature measurement. First loosen the baby's clothes, then place the mercury head of the thermometer in the middle of the baby's armpit, then be careful not to move the baby's arm, and be sure to help the baby hold the thermometer well. Take out the reading after 5 minutes, and be careful not to let your baby catch a cold during this period. In addition, if your baby has sweat under his armpits, be sure to wipe them dry before measuring.

3. Skin temperature measurement method. This method is somewhat difficult to use on babies. It is recommended to measure when the baby is sleeping soundly. Place the thermometer in the folds of the baby's neck, help the baby hold it tightly, and check the temperature after 5 minutes. This method is less accurate than the previous two.

4. Infrared ear thermometer. This method is relatively accurate, but you must be sure to remove the earwax in your baby's ears first.

Different ways of taking body temperature can detect different conditions from different parts of the body.
