Why does a child want to cough when breathing?

Children's dry cough without warning is often not caused by a cold. It may be due to many symptoms such as bronchitis, pneumonia, allergic cough, etc. For the problem of children's cough, we cannot blindly give them medicine. If we don't prescribe the right medicine, no matter how much medicine they take, there will be no improvement. Let us understand what it means when a child wants to cough when he breathes?

If a child wants to cough every time he breathes, it is mostly due to bronchitis, which can occur throughout the year but is more common in winter and spring. The onset is acute, with cough and sneezing. After 1 to 2 days, the cough worsens, and paroxysmal dyspnea, wheezing, pale complexion, cyanosis of the lips, and the three-recess sign appear. The early lung signs are mainly wheezing, followed by moist sounds. When symptoms are severe, they may be accompanied by congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, hypoxic encephalopathy, and water and electrolyte imbalances.

It could also be pneumonia, which is characterized by persistent cough that does not heal for months and worsens in the morning and evening, especially at night. The amount of sputum may be more or less, and it is faster to cough it out. Symptoms are milder in summer, but acute attacks are more likely to occur in winter, making the condition worse.

Coughing when being called may also be due to children's allergic cough. Children's allergic cough is not limited to simple folk remedies, but also requires attention to maintenance in daily life. If you give your children more antioxidants, they can remove free radicals, regulate the body's immunity, and improve allergic constitution, which can reduce the frequency of allergic coughs in children.

If your child wants to cough when breathing, you must take him to the hospital for examination in time so that he can be treated symptomatically. Most children's coughs are caused by pneumonia or bronchitis. You should feed your child more light food on a daily basis. Do not take your child to places with bad environments or crowds. Try to let your child eat more honey and pears, which are good for moistening the lungs and relieving coughs.
