As a special group, students often face various psychological pressures in their daily life and study. The accumulation of various psychological pressures will cause psychological barriers over time. As the darling of the emperor, mental health is the foundation of academic achievement, career success and a happy life. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out mental health education on campus, which can prevent the occurrence of mental illness and physical and mental illness, and timely help students to relieve stress and provide guidance.

So, as a college student, how do we judge whether our own or the people around us are mentally normal? There are three basic principles below: First, whether the psychology is consistent with the social environment. Secondly, whether psychology and behavioral actions are consistent. Finally, whether a person's emotions are stable over a period of time. If a person shows emotions that are greatly contrary to the above, then he may have certain psychological disorders. So what is a psychological disorder? It refers to mental illness or mild psychological disorder, which occurs in most of the contemporary college students due to mental and physical fatigue, nervousness, psychological conflicts, sudden problems or irreconcilable contradictions. It is short-lived and mild in degree, and disappears or alleviates with the change of situation. Some are long-lasting and severe in degree, and finally they have to suspend their studies or even drop out. Its manifestations are also diverse, mainly in psychological activities and behaviors. Psychological activities include hypersensitivity or decreased sensation, abnormal body sensation, illusion, hallucination, amnesia, hypochondria, new words, confusion, disordered psychological characteristics and difficulty getting along with others. Behavioral aspects include anxiety, indifference, stubbornness, aggression, heavy mood, frustration, and even unbearable pain. The above emotional state is obviously not conducive to the development of college students. Therefore, it is necessary for college students to learn to adjust themselves psychologically and achieve mental health. We can start from the following aspects: 1. Enhance interest in learning and desire for knowledge. Learning is the main task of college students. With interest in learning, they can consciously jump into the vast ocean of knowledge, desperately absorb new knowledge, develop various abilities, improve their own quality, and better adapt to the needs of social development. 2. Maintain a good mood and an optimistic attitude. College students should maintain a positive and optimistic mood, a happy and cheerful mood, and be full of confidence and hope for the future. When encountering sad and worrying things, they should learn to self-regulate, express and control emotions in moderation, and be neither arrogant when they win, nor discouraged when they lose, neither crazy when they are happy, nor endlessly worried. 3. Take the initiative to seek psychological counseling when necessary. School psychological counseling is an important way to improve students' mental health and optimize their psychological quality, and is also an important part of psychological quality education. As time goes by, psychological counseling is recognized and accepted by more and more people, and more and more colleges, universities and even middle schools have begun to set up psychological counseling institutions. Psychological counseling can guide students to reduce inner contradictions and conflicts, relieve their worries, and develop their physical and mental potential. It can also help students to correctly understand themselves, control themselves, and effectively adapt to the external environment. Therefore, when we feel depressed, we should communicate with a psychologist in a timely and proactive manner.

Moreover, as students are the flowers of the future of the motherland and as the builders and successors of socialism, it is necessary for us to continuously improve their psychological quality and promote their all-round and healthy development so that they can meet the challenges of the future with good psychological quality and contribute their own strength to the prosperity of the motherland. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every teacher to pay attention to the mental health of every student.
