Parents with boys generally worry more than parents with girls, especially during the child's development stage, boys need more attention than girls, because if boys suffer psychological harm at this stage, they can easily go astray, and parents should not only pay attention to their children's mental health, but also pay attention to their children's physical development, so that the boy's future will be brighter and his body and mind will be healthier. The heart weight of adolescent students increases to 12 to 14 times that of birth, approaching that of adults. Blood pressure and pulse are also close to those of adults. At the age of 12, the brain weight has reached about 1,400 grams, close to that of an adult. The internal structure and function of brain cells also gradually develop and improve. In addition, hormones such as the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, and adrenal glands become active during puberty, affecting the brain and nerves, increasing the excitability of the brain, and the ability to receive and transmit information and respond to things. Children aged 14 or 15 have a lung capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 ml, gradually approaching that of adults.

The human reproductive system develops the latest, and only begins to develop after entering puberty, including the development of primary sexual characteristics, the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics, and the acquisition of sexual functions.

Primary sexual characteristics refer to the innate characteristics of the reproductive organs of both sexes, also known as primary sexual characteristics.

Secondary sexual characteristics are the external manifestations of adolescent sexual development, such as the gender differences in body shape, posture, appearance and voice between boys and girls, also known as secondary sexual characteristics. The secondary sexual characteristics of boys are rough skin, well-developed muscles, less subcutaneous fat, a protruding Adam's apple, a deeper voice, the appearance of pubic hair and then axillary hair, beard growth and nocturnal emission. The onset of nocturnal emission is one of the important characteristics of a boy's maturity. It occurs in all healthy males during puberty.
