What are the common diseases in children?

Childhood is a very important period for physical development, and it is also crucial that we pay attention to some adverse symptoms that children may experience. Children's health affects the development of the next generation. We should not over-indulge growing children. We should let them exercise, strengthen their physical fitness and think independently. This is very helpful for the physical and mental development of children.

Children's health is related to the improvement of the quality of the entire population, the development of the country and the future of the nation. Protecting the lives and safety of our country's children and promoting their healthy growth is the historical responsibility of child health workers in the new century.

Acute fever: Most acute fevers in children are caused by respiratory problems, among which viral colds are the most common. In theory, viral colds do not require antibiotics. However, due to the huge difference between the domestic air quality and that of developed countries, bacterial infections are prone to occur in the later stages of a cold, especially in children under 5 years old. Antibiotics are needed at this time.

Young children generally recover slowly from coughing and sputum, especially those with allergic constitutions. Therefore, parents should not be too anxious. The key is to pay attention to observing changes in the condition. Disease is always a dynamic process. It either gets better slowly or gets worse slowly.

Management of acute fever:

Because infants and young children have incompletely developed temperature regulation centers, their body temperatures fluctuate greatly. In many cases, high fever does not correspond to the severity of the illness. In other words, high fever does not mean that the illness is serious. Many children have high body temperatures but are in good spirits. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much about high fever, and fever itself is a protective response of the human body.

Observation and treatment of cough and sputum: Most cases of cough and sputum are caused by colds. In the early stages, most of them are viral. There is no specific medicine, so don’t worry too much. Even if the recovery is smooth, it will take at least 7 days to fully recover.

During childhood, many children have limited resistance. We need to constantly strengthen the physical fitness of children and at the same time do a good job of disease prevention. Common adverse symptoms generally have corresponding symptoms. In addition to drug treatment, common diseases can also be treated. You need to drink more water and sweat appropriately every day to relieve symptoms.
