What causes fever after vaccination in children?

Generally, babies will not show any abnormal conditions after vaccination, but some children will develop fever and other symptoms after vaccination. So what is going on? Will there be any adverse reactions after the vaccination? In fact, fever after vaccination is mostly not caused by any problems with the vaccine, but may be caused by a cold or some other reasons. So next I will introduce to you what causes fever in children due to vaccines.

1. Cold:

Colds and fevers are caused by the five internal organs regulating the five qi to generate physical energy and thus body temperature. If the five internal organs regulate the five qi, the heat cannot be discharged and the skin pores are blocked by the qi of wind, summer heat, cold, dampness, and dryness and fire. That is, the pores of the lungs become contracted (the lungs govern the skin and fur), and as a result, body temperature and heat cannot be discharged from the skin pores. The most common cold is fever.

Colds and fevers are not caused by foreign bacteria or viruses invading the body, nor is it caused by the loss of control of the central nervous system that regulates body temperature. It is just that the body's epidermis and pores are blocked. They are divided into colds, typhoid fever, heatstroke, dampness, and heat, which are called superficial symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine. The bacteria and viruses have not entered the body at all. The classics say: "The cold evil is bound outside, the yang cannot escape, and it becomes heat (fever)."

2. Injury to food:

Improper diet and weak spleen and stomach cause food to accumulate in the stomach and intestines. The inability to digest food causes it to accumulate and ferment in the stomach and intestines, generating heat energy and causing fever, which is most common in infants and young children. This fever causes hot palms and limbs, unlike a cold which causes cold limbs. The fever will subside and the patient will recover after the food is digested.

3. Acne:

Fever caused by smallpox is inducing the virus to produce immune function, just like the temperature generated when millet and various seeds germinate. Smallpox must cause a fever to encourage the virus to be completely eliminated, produce immune function, and enable the five internal organs to adjust the five qi without causing any obstruction. Therefore, there is no need to reduce the fever when smallpox occurs. You only need to pay attention to your diet during the smallpox outbreak to avoid complications. The fever of smallpox will subside and heal as soon as it is fully developed. The body's immune function will be established and it will be less likely to get sick again.

The above is a detailed introduction to the causes of fever caused by children's vaccines. Through the above introduction, you should be able to find that only a very small part of the fever may be related to the adverse reactions of the vaccine, but most of them are because the child has a fever due to other reasons. Of course, if the child has a fever, you need to take the child to the hospital for examination and treatment, so that you will know what caused it.
