Why is it that my baby has only one tooth?

As the baby grows, the nutrients accumulated in the body gradually increase. The baby's milk teeth will gradually grow. At this time, parents will pay special attention to the growth of their baby's teeth. In fact, different children have different physical conditions and the speed and amount of tooth growth will be different. For some babies, after one tooth comes out, the other teeth will not appear for a long time. So, what is the reason why the baby only has one tooth?

Personal constitution. This is normal individual difference and is the most common situation. The time of tooth eruption can be as slow as after one year old, or even start to grow teeth at around one year and three months old; or a few teeth may grow normally at first, and then there will be no movement for a long time, delaying the sequential tooth eruption schedule. However, overall examination showed that the child's growth and development were good, and his intelligence development was also normal, so it can be judged that this is a normal physiological phenomenon.

If you are calcium deficient, you can eat other complementary foods such as porridge, noodles, biscuits, fish, meat and shrimp. Breast milk and rice noodles alone are not enough. Breast milk has no nutritional value after six months, and now breast milk can no longer meet the baby's growth needs. Adding complementary foods in time can provide some calcium supplement.

There are individual differences in the speed of tooth growth and the early or late eruption of teeth. As long as the child's nutritional intake is normal, his growth and intellectual development are within the normal range, and there is no abnormality in his appearance, there is basically no need to worry about the speed of his teeth growing.

Do parents know why only one tooth has grown out of their baby? Don't be anxious if similar problems occur again. First, take the child to the hospital for a check-up. If it is due to personal physical reasons, parents can rest assured. Just pay attention to the child's normal diet, add nutrition to the child, and wait patiently. The other teeth will surely grow out.
