How to improve children's memory

Many parents attach great importance to their children's memory, because it represents the child's intelligence, and it is a very important learning skill when they are in school. Therefore, when children are very young, many parents have already started to develop and guide their children to enhance their memory. So, why should children's memory be cultivated from an early age, and how should it be cultivated? What methods and ways are more suitable for the development of children's memory? Let's take a look:

1. When attention is focused on memory as long as you focus, concentrate, and exclude distractions and outside interference in the cerebral cortex will be left with impressed memory traces and will not be easily forgotten. If you are distracted and multitasking, your memory efficiency will be greatly reduced.

2. Strong interest: If you are bored with the learning materials and knowledge objects, it will be difficult to remember them even if you spend more time on them.

3. Understanding memory Understanding is the basis of memory. Only things that are understood can be remembered for a long time. It is not easy to remember something just by rote memorization. For important learning content, if you can combine understanding and memorization, the memory effect will be better.

4. Overlearning means memorizing the learning materials several times on the basis of remembering them, until you are familiar with them and remember them firmly.

5. Review in time and the speed of forgetting will be fast at first and then slow. It is an effective way to strengthen memory traces and prevent forgetting to strike while the iron is hot and review and consolidate the knowledge just learned in a timely manner.

6. Recall what you have learned frequently and make continuous attempts to recall. This will correct errors in your memory, make up for omissions, and make it easier to remember the difficult points of the learning content.

7. Frequently recalling objects you have memorized in the past during your free time can also help avoid forgetting.

8. The combination of audio and video can simultaneously utilize the functions of language and visual and auditory organs to strengthen memory and improve memory efficiency. It is much better than just silent reading.

9. Use a variety of methods to enhance memory, including classification memory, chart memory, shortened memory, outline making, note-taking, cards, etc., depending on the situation. The best time is generally 9-11 a.m., 3-4 p.m., and 7-10 p.m., which are the best times for memory. Using the above-mentioned learning materials that are difficult to remember in terms of time will have better results.

There are nine ways to enhance children's memory. Of course, different methods need different treatments for different children because children are born with different characteristics. So how to find a practical method that is suitable for children depends on parents adjusting various methods based on the above to find the method that best suits the children's needs in order to truly help the children.
