At what age do girls start to develop

At what age do girls start to develop? Friends who have baby girls at home must be more concerned about this issue. This is mainly because many foods now contain hormones, which lead to precocious puberty in some girls. Therefore, many parents are very concerned about how old their children start to develop, and worry that their children develop too early. In fact, it is not just about developing too early. If it develops too late, parents also need to pay attention to whether it is caused by some diseases.

At the age of 9-10, breasts begin to develop, which is the first secondary sexual characteristic displayed by girls and a sign of puberty. At the age of 11, pubic hair appears. At the age of 12-13, the nipples and areola continue to grow larger, but still blend in with the entire breast contour. Pubic hair continues to increase and develops toward the mons pubis and the middle abdominal wall, changing from thin to thick and gradually becoming pigmented. We need to find the reasons for early or late development: 80% to 90% of them are unknown, and the rest are organic factors.

After girls turn 13 (some girls earlier), they will have their first menstruation, but it is generally irregular. In the first one or two years, the ovarian function is not yet complete or mature enough to ovulate. At the same time or later as the first menstruation, axillary hair grows, and pubic hair presents a unique female inverted triangle distribution, with the base parallel to the level of the pubic symphysis. Glands in the areola area develop, forming a second bulge on the fuller and enlarged breasts. At the age of 14-15, regular ovulatory menstruation may occur. The breasts are mature, and the nipples protrude from the clearly defined breasts. At the age of 16-17, development is close to maturity, the epiphyseal heals, and height growth basically stops.

For parents, after knowing at what age girls start to develop, they should pay attention to their children's development. It is especially important for mothers to provide their children with scientific knowledge about sex in a timely manner. Don't feel embarrassed to talk about this topic with your children. Only when children understand their own bodies can they avoid psychological problems such as inferiority complex.
