What to eat for children with mumps

Many people don't know much about mumps. The incidence of this disease is not very high. However, after the disease occurs, it needs to be controlled in time, otherwise it will develop very quickly. After suffering from mumps, the human body will have obvious symptoms, generally fever and swelling, and the body will also be weak. After suffering from mumps, children should pay more attention to their diet. What should children with mumps eat?

What to eat for children with mumps:

Children with mumps should eat liquid or semi-liquid food. They can also eat food with anti-inflammatory effects, such as mung beans, loofah, etc. Drink more warm water and light salt water every day.

1. The diet should be light, and liquids should be chewed and swallowed. Such as rice soup, lotus root powder, orange juice, fresh fruit juice, vegetable juice, watermelon juice, pear juice, sugarcane juice, carrot juice, milk, frangipani soup, soy milk, etc. In this case, most fruits are edible. Mumps patients are best suited to eat cool fruits and some mild neutral fruits such as cantaloupe, watermelon, pear, banana, apple (neutral), grapefruit, etc. If it is not convenient, just squeeze the juice and drink it. Do not eat hot fruits such as jujube, hawthorn, cherry, pomegranate, lychee, durian, papaya, orange, etc.

2. Change to semi-liquid or soft food as soon as the condition improves. But it must be thin, soft, and easy to chew and swallow.

3. You can eat more toona sinensis heads (tender buds and leaves), purslane, coriander, mung beans, red beans, loofah, etc. You can squeeze them into juice and drink them, or apply them externally.

After suffering from mumps, children with mumps need to choose the above foods. These foods are very helpful for improving the condition. However, when preparing these foods, simple methods should be chosen so that they are easy for the human body to digest when eaten and will not cause any burden to the patient's body. This is also something that needs attention.
