What causes hair loss in boys?

If a boy has hair loss, the top of the head will be the first place to lose hair, which affects the appearance. If the hair loss is not treated for a long time, it is very easy to form a Mediterranean hairstyle. When he reaches the age of finding a partner, his search for a partner will be seriously disturbed. Because hair loss is generally hereditary, for the sake of the next generation, he should also find a partner with abundant hair. So what causes hair loss in boys?

The causes of hair loss are generally as follows:

(1) Endocrine disorders. Experts point out that hair loss is related to the increase of male hormones in the human body. Other scholars have found that many patients with thyroid diseases also suffer from hair loss, and thus believe that hair loss is related to thyroid hormone.

(2) Mental and nervous disorders. Some young people suffer from hair loss due to a heavy blow, or long-term mental stress and depression.

(3) Heredity. 20% of patients with hair loss have a family history. In genetics, it is dominant in males and recessive in females, which is one of the reasons why more males than females suffer from hair loss.

(4) Immune dysfunction. Clinically, it is found that people with immune system disorders such as lupus erythematosus and ulcerative colitis are often accompanied by hair loss.

(5) Lesion infection. Infections caused by fungi, bacteria and viruses may lead to thrombosis or small vessel inflammation in local blood vessels, causing hair loss due to obstruction of blood supply to the hair in the area controlled by them.

(6) Improper diet and fat metabolism disorder. Some young men like to eat meat and drink too much. When a large amount of cholesterol is produced in the body, it can cause excessive sebum, thus affecting the blood supply to the hair follicles. It hinders the normal growth of hair and causes hair loss.

(7) Blood deficiency and kidney deficiency. According to traditional Chinese medicine, hair loss is caused by blood deficiency and kidney deficiency.

(8) Damaged hair. Foreign experts have pointed out through investigation that long-term use of hair dye may cause hair loss in 2 to 20 years. In addition, frequent use of hair dryers, fire tongs, and electric heaters for perming can also cause hair loss.
