Is it normal for babies to sneeze every day?

For some babies, if they sneeze every day, it has a lot to do with our living environment. At this time, mothers have to look at the living environment of the baby, whether the air is relatively dry. Too dry air can easily cause the baby to sneeze. If there are some fresh flowers in the house, the pollen may cause the baby to sneeze due to allergies. So is it normal for babies to sneeze every day?

Sneezing, like coughing, is a protective reflex action that is beneficial to health. However, if you sneeze too much, it can become a burden, a nuisance, or even harmful.

You may have had this experience: when your body catches a cold or suddenly inhales cold air, the temperature inside your nose suddenly drops, and due to blood vessel dilation, mucosal congestion and edema, nasal obstruction occurs. When a part of the body, such as the feet or arms, is cold, the same reflex will occur in the nose. The reflex process is to generate an excitation wave through the sensory nerves on the mucous membrane (the endings of the trigeminal nerve). This excitement wave is transmitted to the respiratory center of the brain, causing a deep inhalation, followed by a strong exhalation, which generates a stream of air that is violently ejected through the nasal cavity. This powerful airflow carries a large amount of nasal secretions, like a violent storm mixed with heavy rain, which expels foreign objects in the nasal cavity at lightning speed. This process is called sneezing. Therefore, sneezing is a special ability of the nose and a unified reaction of the whole body. Some people even sneeze with all their strength. This is the reason.

This reflex process is objective, not subjective. If you want to learn how to sneeze from someone else, you can only imitate their actions but cannot experience it yourself.

Sneezing is a very good protective reflex, just like the cough reflex, both use strong airflow to clear harmful substances from the body. Sneezing in allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction of the body, so sneezing cannot be suppressed in a sense because it is a protective reflex.
