What causes eczema in children?

In fact, children are the group most likely to develop eczema, because they themselves do not pay attention to the care issues in this area. Therefore, if parents are a little negligent, it will easily lead to the occurrence of eczema, which will seriously affect the children's life and health. Therefore, if you want to better treat children's eczema, you need to understand the causes so that you can solve it in a targeted manner.

Because children's skin is not fully developed, it is easily affected by external stimuli. If they do not pay attention to their diet, allergic eczema will be more likely to occur. Therefore, I hope that couples can pay more attention to the healthy growth of their children.

Pathological etiology

Children's skin is not fully developed. The stratum corneum of the outermost layer of the epidermis is very thin, the capillary network is rich, and the endothelium is rich in water and chloride, so allergic eczema reactions are prone to occur.

Disease diagnosis

Infant eczema: Infant eczema is called milk rash in traditional Chinese medicine. It usually begins in the second or third month after birth. It often occurs on the face and skin folds, but can also affect the whole body. Generally, the symptoms gradually improve and eventually heal with age. However, a small number of cases continue to develop into childhood or even adulthood.

The disease lasts longer and the rash type is more complicated than infantile eczema. In addition to erythema, blisters, erosions, and crusts, there are also papules, nodules, wheals, and lichenification.

The rash is more itchy, and there are more blood scabs and scratches. The rash is mostly dry and can easily develop into a purulent infection after scratching.

The most common sites of disease are not the face but the flexor sides of the limbs and wrinkles, such as the armpits, elbows, and groin.

The above is an introduction to childhood eczema. I hope that through this introduction, everyone can pay more attention to this issue. When children are found to have some symptoms of eczema, they should pay attention to it and help them to treat and care for their skin in time through some methods.
