What is the difference between childhood loneliness and autism?

Although early detection of autism is sometimes more important, there is no need for parents to be overly sensitive and label their children casually. In fact, there is a big difference between childhood autism and loneliness. Autism and loneliness are not the same thing. Therefore, it is most important for us to actively recognize and understand this.

There is a big difference between childhood loneliness and autism . Therefore, although early detection of autism is very important, parents do not need to be overly sensitive and "label" their children's illnesses. In fact, the personality of children who are lonely and indifferent or who have autism are completely different. They like to stay at home, lack communication with others, and close their hearts. Most of these are caused by insufficient care from their family or escape from academic and social pressure. For this group of people, they are usually encouraged to leave their small space and go out more through psychological adjustment. In the process of constantly interacting with others, they can enhance their self-confidence and realize the status and value of their own existence, thereby changing.

The ratio of male to female autism patients is about 3 to 4. Children with autism generally show abnormalities in social development, communication and behavior before the age of three.

For example, in terms of social aspects, they are not interested in external things, lack eye contact with others, cannot actively interact, share or participate in activities with others, have weak imagination, and rarely engage in symbolic play activities through toys; in terms of communication, they have slow and impaired language development, abnormal speech content, speed and tone, and have varying degrees of difficulty in language comprehension and non-verbal communication; in terms of daily behavior, they insist on certain ways of doing things and procedures, refuse to change habits and routines, and constantly repeat certain actions, have narrow interests, and will be extremely focused on certain objects, or be particularly interested in certain parts of objects or objects of certain specific shapes. Studies have shown that the earlier autism is discovered and intervened, the better the treatment effect will be, and the best time for treatment is before the age of 6.

There is a big difference between childhood loneliness and autism, so autism should never be confused with loneliness in character. Doing so may lead to the possibility of blind treatment, which will be more harmful to the child's health. I hope we can have some knowledge about this and actively avoid it.
