If you accidentally find that your child has warts on his face, the best thing to do is to use topical medications to treat it. At this time, the effect of any oral medications will not be so obvious. You can only apply some ointments. These ointments can have an anti-inflammatory effect, allowing the warts on the face to gradually disappear over time, and you can also feel them slowly fading.

You can use 10% to 20% salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid, or glacial acetic acid dissolved in an equal amount of elastic collodion and apply it to the warts, or apply 5% 5-fluorouracil ointment externally to cause the warts to die and fall off. However, it may cause local irritation, redness, swelling, chapped skin, pain, allergic reactions, pigmentation and other side effects. You can also inject 0.1 ml of 0.1% bleomycin saline solution into the base of common warts or plantar warts once every other day. After 2 to 3 times, the warts will fall off. 1. Main prescription for treating warts (Surgery, Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) with additions and subtractions

Prescription: 30 grams each of magnetite, hematite, raw dragon bone, and raw oyster (fried first), 15 grams each of isatis root, fritillaria thunbergii, white peony root, and rehmannia root, 12 grams of phellodendron, 9 grams each of peach kernel and safflower, and 6 grams of aconite. Decoction in water, 1 dose per day.

2. A single prescription for treating warts (Surgery, Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)

Prescription: 25 grams of Rehmannia root, 15 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 12 grams each of white peony root, red peony root, Eucommia ulmoides, Achyranthes bidentata, and adzuki bean, 9 grams each of peach kernel, safflower, peony bark, pangolin, and Atractylodes macrocephala. Decoction in water, the residue can be boiled again. Take 1 dose daily.

Mash the fruit of Brucea javanica into a paste and apply it to the warts (it is best to soak the affected area in hot water before application and scrape off the surface stratum corneum with a blade), fix it with cellophane and adhesive tape, and change the dressing once every 3 days. Use 30 grams each of Equisetum arvense, Cyperus rotundus, and Isatis root, and 15 grams of Isatis indigotica, decoct them in water and soak the affected area, twice a day, each time for 30 minutes. Apply moxa sticks to the warts and apply moxibustion once a day until they fall off. After routine disinfection of the affected area with iodine injection, take 0.2-1.0 ml of 2%-3% iodine and inject it at the base of the wart with a skin test syringe. The total amount of each injection should not exceed 1 ml. It will fall off on its own about 3 to 5 days after injection.

This method is suitable for common warts that are small in number. The wart pushing method is suitable for warts with large heads, small stems and that are significantly higher than the skin surface. Use a cotton stick or a scraper (the head of the scraper is wrapped with cotton) at the base of the wart and push it forward at a 30-degree angle to the skin. Don't use too much force to push the wart away. After pushing away, apply pressure on the wound to stop bleeding, then add a little peach blossom powder or quicklime, cover it with gauze, and secure it with adhesive tape. Apply Wu Miao Narcissus Ointment to the wart and then seal it with adhesive tape.
