Why does my child retch when eating?

For parents, children's health issues are the most important concern. For children who are in the growth and development period, eating and sleeping are the most critical issues. Only by eating more foods with high nutritional value and maintaining good sleep can children grow up healthily. However, many parents find that their children are accompanied by dry retching when eating. What is going on?

All parents are very concerned about their children's eating problems. They hope that their children can eat well and eat more, believing that this will make their children grow up strong. Some children will retch while eating, which makes parents very uneasy. So, what's the matter with children retching while eating?

First: The food is too fine: The diet that parents prepare for their children is very delicate, but over time it will become a habit. Once there are rough particles in the food, the child will be very uncomfortable, which will irritate the back of the mouth and cause a vomiting reflex, the specific manifestation of which is dry retching.

Second: Food stimulation: If a child is normal when eating ordinary meals, but has dry heaves when eating puffed foods and sweeter foods, this is mostly because the food stimulates the throat and causes dry heaves. Dry heaves can be avoided by stopping eating such foods.

Third: Gastrointestinal abnormalities: Since the sensory organs of the vomiting center in the human brain are widely distributed, not only in the gastrointestinal tract, other organs, when stimulated, will also transmit the stimulation signals through the nerves to the vomiting center, which will cause vomiting reactions. The most common area is the gastrointestinal tract. If the child's cardia is loose, he or she will dry heave or even vomit while eating.
