Steam + back patting to relieve cough

If a baby keeps coughing in the middle of the night, patting the back is usually used. This can not only loosen the phlegm in the child's lungs and bronchi, drain it into the trachea and discharge it, but also promote blood circulation in the heart and lungs, which is beneficial to the absorption of bronchial inflammation and allows the disease to heal as soon as possible. In order to help clear the phlegm better, we first need to inhale the steam to help loosen the phlegm and make it easier to clear it out.

practice

1. Pour boiling water into a large can or teacup, hold the baby, and place his mouth and nose facing the rising steam and inhale and exhale. This can dilute the phlegm and make it easier to cough it out by patting the back.

2. Pick up the baby, let the baby's head rest on the parent's shoulders, and then pat the baby's back with your empty fists. 3. The force of the patting should not be too strong. It should be done from top to bottom, in sequence, for 3-5 minutes each time, and 2-3 times a day.
