Swollen inguinal lymph nodes in baby

Swollen inguinal lymph nodes in baby

When there is a problem with the lymph nodes, there will be many complications, and swollen lymph nodes will occur regardless of age. Babies may also have swollen inguinal lymph nodes. Parents just need to observe their children's reactions carefully. When the child's inguinal lymph nodes are swollen, it will be painful when pressed with the hands, and the baby will have fever and sweating. In severe cases, tuberculosis may occur.

Some people feel that their lymph nodes are swollen and accompanied by slight pain. This is indeed one of the symptoms of inguinal lymphadenitis. So what are the symptoms of inguinal lymphadenitis? I hope we can further judge through the following discussion.

Most cases of inguinal lymphadenitis have obvious infection foci, and are often localized lymph node enlargement, pain and tenderness. The diameter usually does not exceed 2 to 3 cm and will shrink after anti-inflammatory treatment. There are also symptoms such as fever, sweating, fatigue, and increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, which are more common in young and middle-aged people. It is often accompanied by pulmonary tuberculosis. The texture of the lymph nodes is uneven, some parts are lighter (caseous change), some parts are harder (fibrosis or calcification), and they are adhered to each other and the skin, so their mobility is poor. These patients have positive tuberculin tests and blood tuberculosis antibodies.

Judging symptoms through routine examinations: The superficial lymph nodes in a normal human body are only the size of rice grains, soft, smooth, movable, non-tender, and generally not easy to touch. Patients with inguinal lymphadenitis may experience swollen, painful, hardened, rough texture, adhesion to surrounding tissues, or softening of the lymph nodes, a sense of fluctuation when touched, or even ulceration, all of which are "alarms" issued by lymph node lesions.

People with this disease need to pay more attention to the details of their lives. The diet should be light, delicious and easy to digest, and eat more foods that clear away heat and detoxify. Such as mung bean soup, purslane porridge, watermelon rind porridge, loofah, celery, etc. Drink more heat-clearing chrysanthemum tea, honeysuckle tea, autumn pear paste, etc. Don't eat greasy food, eat more light food.
