Buzzing in the child's ears

Buzzing in the child's ears

Children should pay attention to nutrition in their daily diet and eat on time every day. It is best to have a balanced combination of meat and vegetables in each meal. Children should take good care of their ears. They should not be in noisy environments and should not use headphones. Headphones can cause certain damage to the ears. Some children will experience buzzing in their ears. What's wrong with children's ears? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. What’s wrong with my child’s buzzing ears?

This situation may be caused by neurological tinnitus and cerebral vasospasm. You can take your child to a regular ear doctor for examination, diagnosis and treatment.

2. How do children take care of their ears?

1. Frequent earwax removal

The walls of the human external auditory canal are covered with cilia, which can clear secretions from the ear canal by swinging, so no special cleaning is required. Please do not use ear picks, cotton swabs or other tools to clean your baby's ear canal. Otherwise, it may damage the cilia and cause damage and infection to the external auditory canal at the very least; it may cause papilloma in the external auditory canal at the worst. Statistics show that 85% of children with external auditory canal infections have the habit of picking their ears, and some are infected directly due to damage from ear picking.

2. Inhale or blow your nose forcefully

Blowing your nose too hard, especially blowing both nostrils at the same time, can easily cause bacteria in the nasal cavity to invade the eardrum through the Eustachian tube due to pressure, causing ear injury. In severe cases, it may even cause ear pain and pus in the middle ear, and even cause tympanic membrane perforation, ear pus discharge, hearing loss, etc. If a child likes to suck his nose and does it frequently, this will increase the risk of the child suffering from otitis media. In severe cases, it may even be complicated by brain abscess, which is very dangerous.

3. Ignore runny nose

Children's colds can easily cause rhinitis and may have a runny nose for a long time, which cannot be left untreated. Because when you suffer from acute pharyngitis, acute rhinitis, or a cold, bacteria are likely to invade the middle ear through the Eustachian tube and induce inflammation. If not treated in time, it can easily develop into acute suppurative otitis media.

4. Often wear headphones to listen to music

Many children like to turn up the volume very high when watching TV or listening to music. Some children like to wear headphones to listen to music, often for hours at a time, without taking them off while walking or reading. This kind of continuous exposure to high-decibel noise can easily cause adverse stimulation to the nerve endings of the auditory organs in the ear, which can seriously damage human hearing. If a child unconsciously turns up the volume when playing games or watching TV, or fails to respond in time when called, his or her hearing may be impaired.

3. Notes

In addition to maintaining the inside of the ears, you should also pay attention to maintaining the skin outside the ears and eat more foods that are good for the skin.
