What to do if you have urine leakage after giving birth

After giving birth, many new mothers do not pay attention to taking care of their children, or they do not know how to change diapers at the beginning. Many children often leak urine when wearing diapers. This is because the method is not correct, so leakage occurs. When wearing diapers, you need to follow the correct steps, which will make the baby feel more comfortable and avoid leakage.

Step 1: Lay the baby flat on the bed. If conditions permit, it is best to use a baby diaper-proof mattress under the baby.

Step 2: Take out the wet diaper, lift the baby's feet up and secure them, and wipe from top to bottom with a wet tissue. If it is just wet, just change the diaper; if it is loose stool, you should first wipe off the stool with a wet wipe or soft towel, and then clean the baby's buttocks with warm water.

Step 3: After wiping clean, lift the baby's buttocks and apply diaper cream or Vaseline.

Step 4: Open the diaper, tidy up and pull the pleats on the inner thighs. This pleat plays a role in leak prevention, and mothers should not ignore it! Then lift the baby's legs and spread them under the baby's butt, put down the baby's legs, stretch the two ends of the diaper, and finally fold the other end up, stick it, and put it on, and everything will be fine. In addition, mothers should pay attention to the appropriate tightness of the waist and legs after pasting, so that they can accommodate one finger of the mother.

Precautions

So what brand of diapers is least likely to leak urine? The Huggies Gold that I used for my baby before is very good. My baby has never leaked urine when wearing it. I also summarized the two main reasons why Huggies Gold does not leak: one is that it has good absorption, the baby's urine can be absorbed in time, leaving no chance of leakage; the second is that it is leak-proof, it has a double-layer leak-proof partition, which can prevent side leakage very well, and there is a small pocket at the back to hold loose stools. I think if there are mothers who are still at a loss as to how to deal with their baby's urinary incontinence, they might as well try this diaper.
