Is it OK for a baby to walk too early?

After people give birth to a child, more attention will be shifted to the child. For children, the most important stage is walking. Parents often worry that their children are not walking well enough. Some children start walking very early, and their parents may worry whether they are walking too early and whether their bones and meridians may be damaged. Actually, no.

Babies are usually able to walk independently between 11 and 18 months.

A child who can walk independently before the age of 1 is considered an early walker. Whether it is good or bad depends on the specific situation.

1. If your baby learns to walk too early, it may affect the development of the leg bones.

2. If the baby is limited by conditions and does not get enough crawling training, it may be dangerous to learn to walk directly. Although babies may be able to walk early, they often walk unsteadily and fall easily.

3. As long as the baby has gone through a sufficient crawling stage and has a corresponding foundation in bones, muscles and body coordination, there will be no problem.

4. If the baby walks steadily, can maintain balance well and is not prone to falling, it is fine even if he walks earlier than other children.

What is certain is that no matter whether the baby starts learning to walk early or late, he or she will eventually learn to walk between the ages of 1 and 2. Moreover, scientific research has proven that children who walk early have no advantage in their future development over those who walk late.

The necessary conditions for a baby to walk are mainly muscle strength and sense of balance, and the speed of development of these two aspects is mainly affected by personality.

For example, a gentle baby is a staunch crawler in the early stages. They are often content with ground activities and are not interested in high views. These babies often sit and fiddle with their fingers and any objects around them. Only when they get tired of the things around them will they think of crawling far away to find other fun. Such babies generally go through a process of crawling - standing with support - walking with support - walking, but once they start walking, they can walk very well.

Babies who walk earlier are generally more active and impulsive. Maybe before you have time to record his crawling movements, he has already started walking. This type of baby will not sit obediently in a baby chair or on an adult's lap. The word "anxious" is revealed in their temperament, so they look "anxious" and it is natural for them to walk early.

Of course, the baby's weight can also affect the early or late walking, but babies with active personalities are generally thinner than babies who are not active, which is why they walk earlier.
