Why do newborns have birthmarks?

Birthmarks are a skin phenomenon that exists in many people, and most people have birthmarks on their bodies since birth. The location of each person's birthmark is basically different. Some birthmarks will have a great impact on a person's appearance, while some birthmarks are not noticeable at all. But basically no one understands why birthmarks appear on the human body, so why do newborns have birthmarks?

How to remove birthmarks

If you have a birthmark, you cannot remove it by yourself and usually need to go to the hospital for treatment. Hospitals also have many ways to remove birthmarks, but there are three main commonly used methods: laser scanning, skin grafting and isotope therapy. Let’s talk about isotope therapy and skin grafting first. The former is not very effective in removing birthmarks, and it will leave some sequelae after completion. The latter is mainly suitable for birthmarks or burns with larger areas. It can be used if necessary, but the effect is not very good.

The most commonly used method now is laser. Laser mainly uses the effect of light and heat to crush or vaporize the pigment of birthmarks in the skin. The effect is relatively good.

How are birthmarks formed?

Birthmarks on the body vary in size and location. Generally, there are four main reasons for the formation of birthmarks. The first is external environmental factors. Nowadays, both rural and urban areas are polluted. People are stimulated in a polluted environment and will respond to it. The appearance of birthmarks is one of the manifestations. The second is the living environment. Bad habits developed in life, or irregular diet and sleep may cause birthmarks. The third is heredity. Heredity is also considered to be an important factor in causing birthmarks, but there is no definite scientific basis. The fourth is malnutrition. Due to the lack of some nutrients or trace elements, the secretion of pigments increases significantly, forming birthmarks.

What do birthmarks mean?

The location of birthmarks on each person's body is different, and the meaning of each place is also different. Some birthmarks will bring people good luck, while some birthmarks will bring people bad luck.

If the birthmark is on the belly button, it means that this person will be loved wherever he goes. If the birthmark is on the inner thigh, it means that this person will achieve something in his work, but is always busy. If the birthmark is on the heart, it means that this person is cunning and has a bad character. If the birthmark is on the arm and collarbone, it means that this person is noble and will not be able to save money in his old age and will be penniless.
