Is a baby fence necessary?

When a child comes into this world from his mother's womb, he is full of curiosity about everything in the world. At the same time, the newborn baby lacks the ability to distinguish between good and bad things. Without the careful care of his parents, he is often vulnerable to external harm. Therefore, many families are equipped with baby fences to protect their children's daily movements, but some people also suggest that baby fences do not play a big role and there is no need to buy them. So, is it necessary for families with newborn babies to use a baby fence?

Babies usually start crawling when they are 6 to 10 months old. At this stage, the baby's safety becomes a headache for mothers. For example, when doing housework, you may worry that your baby may get hurt while crawling around or run into other dangerous objects. Therefore, most mothers will choose to buy a child fence to put their baby in it.

The fence not only frees the mother's hands, but also brings other benefits to the baby. I have discussed these issues with some mothers before, and most people think that child fences are necessary.

1. Be able to interact with your baby and enhance feelings. When conducting parent-child interaction, we usually use some small gadgets, such as rattles, and the fence also has interactive windows so that the baby can interact with the mother outside the fence. Interesting designs can bring more fun to simple interactions.

2. Provide a safe place for active babies when things happen

3. Create a small playground that children like

4 Want to free up your hands and arrange it freely

When mothers feel liberated, they will tend to use it frequently, and even think it is a good way to protect their children, and it will gradually become a routine. But we must be clear that this is only a way for them to temporarily replace us when we are unable to be there to protect them!

If you already want to keep your child in the fence most of the time, you need to consider whether you are willing to bear the consequences of your intention.

If your child can already crawl, then don't use it anymore and put away all the other things that block the child's way.

Otherwise, this will hinder children's exploration, be detrimental to their learning, and even more detrimental to the establishment of their sense of security. If we have a choice, accompanying them and guiding them is the better and safer way.

Things to keep in mind when using a baby fence

1. When leaving, check and make sure the fence is secure

2. Don’t hang ropes on the fence

3. Wrap the exposed sharp and hard parts with something soft.

4. Never put large toys to prevent children from using them as steps to climb out of the fence.

5. You need to be closer to your child to increase his or her sense of security.

6. Keep the intervals between visits to children short to avoid accidents

7. The toys placed in the fence are soft

Maybe it is relatively unsafe for children to go out of the fence, but it is a necessary path and they will have to face it sooner or later. Don't let it become a tool to lock up children. If we are here, put away the fence. Let the children follow our footsteps to explore all the curiosity in their hearts!
