The baby accidentally drank the floral water

Babies are very curious about all kinds of things. As an item often used in our family, toilet water is something that babies often come into contact with. Many babies accidentally drink toilet water, thinking it is something delicious. After parents find out, they will become particularly worried that the toilet water will cause serious consequences for the baby. So, if the baby accidentally drinks toilet water, what should parents do?

1. What should I do if my baby accidentally drinks toilet water?

It is mainly used to induce vomiting, but a small amount of general toilet water is fine.

1. Use a hard feather, tongue depressor, spoon handle, chopsticks, fingers, etc. to stir the pharyngeal arch and posterior pharyngeal wall to induce vomiting.

2. Toilet water contains a large amount of edible alcohol. If a small amount is accidentally ingested by the human body, it is generally not a big problem.

3. Foods such as honey water, apples, grapes, celery juice, tomatoes, pears, etc. can quickly metabolize alcohol and relieve the symptoms of "drunkenness".

4. Since toilet water contains more than 70% edible alcohol, you may experience symptoms of drunkenness after accidentally drinking it. It is recommended to eat some hangover foods to relieve the symptoms.

2. Will drinking floral water cause poisoning?

1. Floral water is not a highly toxic drug, so even if you drink a bottle of floral water, you will not die, but it is entirely possible to experience symptoms such as vomiting. There are two main types of mosquito repellent ingredients in toilet water and mosquito repellent water, one is DEET and the other is Imonim.

2. In comparison, Imoning is less toxic and less irritating, and the content of DEET in toilet water is very low, so it has little effect on the human body. If you drink too much by mistake, it is recommended to go to the hospital for gastric lavage.

3. It is not recommended for babies to use floral water, especially for infants under 2 months old. Because babies under 2 months old have imperfect liver detoxification and metabolic capabilities, applying floral water can easily cause alcohol accumulation in babies and cause poisoning, so it is forbidden to apply it. When babies over 2 months old use floral water, it should be diluted 5 times with water before use to avoid high concentration or irritation to the baby's delicate skin.

4. If you want to use floral water, it is recommended to use floral water specially for children. You can drop a few drops of floral water into the bath water when taking a bath. This can also prevent mosquitoes and prickly heat for the baby.

5. Ingredients such as menthol and borneol in floral water give people a cool and refreshing feeling, but if you are allergic to these ingredients, you should be careful to avoid products with these ingredients added when choosing floral water. Therefore, when purchasing floral water, we must pay attention to its ingredients and quality, and understand its impact on ourselves, so as to better ensure our health.
