What diseases does the child have?

We all know that children's physical fitness is relatively poor when they are in school. Because children are young, their own immunity is relatively low, so they are particularly prone to certain diseases. Many parents do not take their children out when they are young. There are many people outside and the spread of bacteria is also very rapid. It is better for children to stay at home for their own safety. So what diseases can children suffer from?

What are the common diseases in children?

1. Cold and cough

When the weather turns cold in autumn and winter, young children are more likely to catch cold or get infected due to their poor resistance, which leads to colds and coughs. If your baby is sick, you should give him or her medication according to the doctor's instructions and arrange his or her diet properly, which should not be too greasy.

Precautions

(1) Ensure that children have more than two hours of outdoor activities every day.

(2) Ventilate the room frequently and dry bedding in the sun. You can use an air purifier two to three times a day for one to two hours each time to keep the air fresh.

(3) As the saying goes, “Keep warm in spring and keep cool in autumn.” Do not add more clothes to your baby immediately after autumn. Under normal circumstances, a baby only needs to wear one more piece of clothing than an adult. Giving children some opportunities to experience the stimulation of cold and warm climates can help them train their ability to adapt to the climate.

(4) Children’s physical fitness can be enhanced through games, running, exercises and other physical exercises.

(5) Let children live a regular life, avoid overeating, and reduce the intake of fatty and sweet foods.

(6) During the flu season, try not to take your baby to public places.

2. Picky eating

Many parents may not know that picky eating is also a disease. If a child is picky about food, it is easy to cause nutritional imbalance, which may lead to developmental delay. One factor that causes children to have picky eating habits is family influence. When parents show their dislike for a certain food in front of their children, the children will also dislike it accordingly. In addition, parents tend to spoil their children and feed them the food they like, such an environment can easily cause children to have picky eating habits. If a child eats less or is picky about food, he or she will lose weight, have a sallow complexion, dry skin, etc. In severe cases, it may also cause anemia, hypoglycemia, a drop in body temperature, a slow pulse, a drop in blood pressure, and malnutrition.

Treatment

(1) Adjust the cooking method: Each ingredient has its own best cooking method. Therefore, when preparing food for children, you should learn to “change the styles”. Parents can flexibly adopt cooking methods such as boiling, stewing and steaming. It is best to cook the food softer.

(2) Deformation and color change method: As the saying goes, “clothes make the man”, and food must also have good looks. Parents can try changing the shape of the dishes to attract their children's attention and increase their appetite. Ketchup is also a good helper to dress up food.

(3) Food adulteration: Food can be mixed and eaten. For example: if your child doesn’t like to eat ginger, mutton, etc., you can chop these foods into pieces, mix them with other foods, and let the child eat them without realizing it.
