Children's stool is bloody when wiping their buttocks

Children's stool is bloody when wiping their buttocks

In our lives, many children cannot wipe their own butts, so some mothers will help their babies wipe their butts after they have defecated. Sometimes mothers will find some blood on the paper used to wipe their butts. This is mostly because the baby has some anal diseases. The baby should be given some anti-inflammatory medicine in time. So what should I do if there is blood on the butt when the child wipes his butt after defecation?

The main symptom is that you find blood on the toilet paper after wiping your buttocks, which may be related to perianal diseases. If you find that your baby's stool contains blood, you should first determine whether the baby has dry and hard stools. Dry and hard stools often cause anal fissures, which lead to bleeding. In this case, you should correct it through diet, try to breastfeed or change milk powder. In case of acute constipation, it is recommended to use a cotton swab dipped in a suppository to insert the suppository into the anus. Secondly, observe whether there are any cracks or damages around the baby's anus, pay attention to the hygiene of the buttocks, and clean them every day. If there is no improvement after the above treatment, it is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment.

If all conditions are normal, it means the baby is not feeling unwell and the current diagnosis is difficult to determine, so the baby should go to the hospital outpatient clinic for treatment.

This is most likely caused by the baby's stool being dry and hard, or the stool being large. If the stool is dry and hard or the stool head is relatively large, it may easily rupture the liver entrance when the stool comes out, resulting in a small amount of blood. In this case, the mother only needs to let the baby drink more water, properly defecate, and apply some vegetable oil on the baby's anus.

Blood in the stool is abnormal. It is often caused by digestive tract diseases or hemorrhoids. Generally speaking, if there is upper gastrointestinal bleeding, the stool is mostly black in color, and if there is lower gastrointestinal bleeding, the stool is dark red and mixed with the stool. Hemorrhoidal bleeding is bright red and does not mix with the stool, and there will be blood on the toilet paper.

Blood is discharged from the anus, the stool contains blood, or the stool is entirely bloody, and the color is bright red, dark red or tarry. It is called hematochezia. It is seen in lower gastrointestinal bleeding, especially bleeding in the colon and rectum, and can be caused by blood system diseases.

Suggestions: Treatment: Do not spend more than five minutes in the toilet, do not squat or sit for a long time, quit smoking, drinking and other irritating foods, and avoid using blood-activating and blood-dissolving drugs such as aspirin.
