A child fell again after recovering from a fracture for half a month

Children are lively and active. Various activities and sports keep them running around all day long. However, children are also the most careless and negligent group. They are easily injured. Children's bones are very fragile and are prone to fractures or other diseases. Fractures take a long time to heal and are very painful. If a child has recovered from a fracture and falls again, it really makes the situation worse. So what should we do if a child falls and then falls again after recovering for half a month?

1. Treatment of fractures in children

Dial 120 emergency number and try to send the baby to the hospital as soon as possible. While waiting for the emergency personnel to arrive, closely observe the baby to see if he or she has symptoms of shock such as pale face, cold sweat, weak pulse, low blood pressure, or even coma due to pain or excessive bleeding. At this time, parents should place the baby's head in a low position and pay attention to keeping the limbs warm.

If there is bleeding, stop the bleeding immediately. For bleeding from a fracture, you can press the wound with a clean towel before sending the baby to the hospital. If the bleeding is severe, you can use rubber bands or rubber bands to wrap around the fractured limb to apply pressure to stop the bleeding, but be sure to relax it every 30 minutes or so to avoid affecting blood circulation and causing ischemia in the fractured limb.

Parents should not sprinkle anti-inflammatory powder, hemostatic powder or other medicines on the wound, nor cover the wound with dirty cotton cloth. After hemostasis, the wound should be covered with sterile gauze or an unused towel to prevent the wound from being contaminated during transportation. If the broken ends of bones are exposed outside the skin, parents should not move them.

2. Prevent fractures

, insist on doing some functional sports activities, such as slow walking every day. This can prevent osteoporosis and reduce the chance of fractures. 2. Eat more calcium-rich foods. Such as milk, fish, soy products, eggs, etc., and calcium supplements can be taken if necessary. 3. The room should be reasonably designed, the floor should not be too slippery, tables and chairs should not be placed randomly, and commonly used items should be placed at an appropriate height. 4. Pay attention to safety: Pay attention to safety in daily life to prevent trauma and accidents to avoid fractures.
