How to reduce baby’s fever?

Fever in babies is a common phenomenon and is what parents worry about the most. If the fever is severe, it can damage the brain. There are many reasons for baby fever, such as cold, bronchitis, measles, cold, indigestion, etc. Therefore, when the baby has a fever, it is necessary to find the primary disease and treat it in order to completely reduce the fever. So, how can you cool down your baby quickly? Mothers may wish to learn the following methods.

Tips on how to quickly reduce fever

1. Cold compress

If a high fever is unbearable, cold compresses can be used to help lower the body temperature. Place a cold wet towel on your forehead, wrists, and calves, and cover other parts of your body with clothing. When the cold compress reaches body temperature, it should be changed and repeated until the fever subsides. You can also wrap ice cubes in a cloth bag and place it on your forehead.

2. Soak your feet in ginger water

Soak your feet in ginger water, adding water and soaking until you start sweating. It will probably take more than 30 minutes to start sweating. This is an excellent way to eliminate fever caused by a cold.

3. Drink boiled water

When you have a fever, your body is severely dehydrated. Drinking more boiled water can replenish the body's water, accelerate sweating, and quickly reduce fever.

4. Bleeding at the Tip of the Ear

After disinfecting with a three-edged needle (which should be available in medical supply stores and pharmacies), let 4-5 drops of blood from the tip of the ear (you need to squeeze it to make it bleed). The body temperature will drop after ten minutes.

5. Rub the soles of your feet with ginger

Use ginger to rub the "Yongquan" point on the soles of the feet and the "Dazhui" point on the back. This is the best way to reduce fever.

6. Alcohol bath

This is the most effective method. Make sure to use diluted alcohol for alcohol bath! Rub it all over your body.
