Minors are very concerned about their height and want to find ways to make themselves taller. However, most factors of height are determined by genetics, and acquired factors can only play a partial role in the change. Therefore, the height problem has also become a regret for many adults. Teenagers are in the growth period, and they can use scientific methods to accelerate their growth. First of all, they need to predict their height. Let's take a look at how to predict your height.
Formula: Boy's adult height (cm) = (father's height + mother's height)/2×1.08 Girl's adult height (cm) = (father's height × 0.923 + mother's height) / 2 For example: a boy, his father is 175cm tall and his mother is 160cm tall, then the boy's estimated height when he reaches adulthood is (175+160)/2×1.08=181cm. Note: This formula was proposed by Czechoslovaks. It is relatively simple and therefore widely circulated. However, it only takes the genetic factors of the parents into consideration, has a large error range, and has limited practical value.
Formula: Adult height (cm) = current foot length (cm) × K (K is the conversion factor, see Table 1 for details) For example: A 10-year-old girl has a foot length of 20.2 cm. The K value is 7.79 in Table 1. Then the estimated height of the girl when she reaches adulthood is 20.2×7.79=157 cm. Note: This formula was proposed by the Institute of Sports Science of the State Sports Commission based on the relationship between foot length and height. The original table is the original table of foot length and height. The author made slight changes and the results are similar. This method is not suitable for children who mature early or late.
Formula: Adult height (cm) = A + B × current height (cm) (A is a constant, B is a corresponding coefficient, which can be found in Table 2) For example: A 10 and a half year old boy was 133 cm tall. In Table 2, A is 71.87 and B is 0.75. Then the estimated height of the boy when he reaches adulthood is 71.87+0.75×133= 172cm. Note: This method has better prediction effects for children with average maturity, with the error generally less than 3 cm, but may have slightly larger deviations for precocious or late-maturing children. |
