What causes stomachache when eating?

Stomach ache sounds like a fairly common physiological reaction, which may simply be caused by physiological metabolism. But in fact, if the child's pain is quite severe and even affects the child's normal life, parents must take the children to see a doctor as soon as possible to avoid further deterioration of the situation due to their own neglect. Once this problem is discovered, parents must take responsibility and deal with it correctly.

Duodenal ulcer is a very common disease symptom. Suffering from duodenal ulcer will affect our physical health at all times and even affect our digestive system. Next, I will give you a detailed introduction to the characteristics of duodenal ulcer.

1. Appetite and weight: Patients with duodenal ulcer usually have a good appetite, often need to eat frequently to relieve pain, and often gain weight. On the contrary, when chronic duodenal ulcer obstructs, weight will slowly decrease.

2. Vomiting: Certain types of ulcer disease may have no symptoms. The main symptom of duodenal ulcer in children is vomiting. The pain of pyloric ulcer is severe and irregular.

3. Bleeding: Peptic ulcer bleeding is the most common cause of upper gastrointestinal bleeding, accounting for 1/3 to 1/2 of it. Patients with bleeding duodenal ulcer have no specific symptoms, and only 30% to 40% of bleeding patients have early ulcer symptoms. People with duodenal ulcers are often debilitated, sometimes with anemia and weakness due to chronic blood loss from the ulcer.

Some cases of duodenal ulcer may not have typical pain, but only manifest as irregular and vague upper abdominal pain and discomfort, accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal distension, anorexia, and belching. As the disease progresses, symptoms may change due to the emergence of complications. Generally speaking, duodenal ulcer is characterized by upper abdominal pain in an uncertain location. If the pain worsens and is located in a fixed location, radiates to the back, and cannot be relieved by antacids, it often indicates chronic perforation of the posterior wall. Acute perforation should be considered when severe abdominal pain occurs suddenly and spreads rapidly to the entire abdomen. Sudden dizziness indicates possible bleeding complications.

Warm reminder: The above are the characteristics of duodenal ulcer. Here, we solemnly remind patients to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time, because the right medicine is the best way to treat ulcers, and only regular hospitals will be safer. I wish you all a speedy recovery!
