The dangers of weaning at three months

For newborn babies, breast milk is the best food. It not only promotes the baby's growth and development, but also enhances the baby's resistance. However, many mothers wean their babies off breast milk too early and start feeding their babies formula milk, mainly because they are afraid that their babies will suffer from sagging breasts if they drink breast milk for a long time. In fact, weaning the baby too early can bring a lot of harm to the mother, such as breast diseases, menstrual disorders, etc., so today let’s talk about the dangers of weaning at three months.

1. Mothers are susceptible to diseases

Many studies have shown that mothers who breastfeed their babies can reduce the risk of breast cancer, and that baby girls who are breastfed when they are young will also have a lower risk of developing breast cancer when they grow up. But if mothers breastfeed, their chances of developing breast cancer are greatly reduced.

And if the mother does not breastfeed, the risk of ovarian cancer, urinary tract infection and osteoporosis will increase.

2. The mother's uterus recovers slowly

In fact, many people don’t know that when the baby sucks the mother’s nipple, it will cause the mother’s uterus to contract, reduce bleeding, and speed up the recovery of the mother’s uterus. Because the baby's sucking action stimulates the secretion of oxytocin, which restores the uterus to its pre-pregnancy size.

However, if the mother does not breastfeed, then without the above help and stimulation, the mother's uterus will recover more slowly and incompletely.

3. The mother has menstrual disorders

If mothers do not breastfeed, their menstrual periods will become shorter. Some mothers who have never breastfed have an average menstrual period of 14.6 months. This will cause menstruation to not come as regularly as before, causing menstrual disorders.

Moreover, the reduction in mothers’ menstrual periods is directly related to terminal illnesses such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

4. The mother's breasts are prone to sagging

Some mothers are reluctant to breastfeed because they are afraid that it will affect the shape of their breasts, but in fact, not breastfeeding will affect the breasts and can easily lead to sagging breasts.

Because breast milk consumes extra calories in the mother's body, and the metabolism of breastfeeding mothers will be accelerated, it will not affect the breasts at all, and can also have a slight weight loss effect.

Moreover, the fundamental reason why mothers' breast shape changes is that they do not pay attention to breast care and massage regulation.
