Reasons why babies hum at night

Children cannot speak, so if they protest or want to express their emotions at this time, they will express their emotions through humming, but parents cannot respond to their children's meaning at all, so a lot of unnecessary trouble will arise. The most common sound for older babies during sleep is humming, which may be mostly out of pleasure or fear. As a parent, you must patiently observe and understand the changes in your child's body.

Babies at the same stage have different behaviors:

1. Babies under 3 months old are more likely to be restless during sleep, and they are prone to making noises such as humming and hmmming.

2. Babies over 3 months old gradually learn to roll over. The symptoms of this stage are: they easily roll over and over and sometimes cry. The main reason is that they need to adapt to the environment. They feel very safe in their mother's belly. After birth, as they grow up, they begin to slowly come into contact with the surrounding environment. Some sounds or vibrations that we adults cannot feel may have an impact on the baby.

3. Bloating and constipation. Eating too much and going to bed immediately after a meal can easily cause bloating, or adding complementary foods during the baby's digestion and transformation period can easily cause bloating and constipation, causing the baby to hum while sleeping unsteadily.

4. Feeding and care issues. Feeding the baby too much can easily cause indigestion, and this reaction can also occur if the baby is covered or dressed too much when sleeping and sweating on the back occurs.

The above are some individual reasons that may cause babies to have trouble sleeping well at night. You can check if you have similar symptoms. If the mother feels worried, she can take the baby for a check-up or test whether there is any nutritional deficiency.
