Why are baby's eyes purple?

The baby's physical condition is constantly changing, and it is easy to have some diseases and problems, which will cause great obstacles to the baby's development. For example, the condition of the skin around the baby's eyes is the most obvious sign of health. Among them, many babies will experience darkening of the skin around their eyes, which will have a certain impact on the baby's image. Let's take a look at what happens when the baby's eyes turn purple?

The reason why the baby's lower eye bags are purple

The following are some of the more common reasons for the color abnormalities of children's eye bags: First, the child's sleep at night is not very stable and the child wakes up easily. Then there is the child's internal heat. Generally, such children are more prone to fever, and the manifestation is that they will have a fever more often when they catch a cold.

If your child does not sleep well at night, you can pay proper attention to his/her calcium supplementation. When children are calcium deficient, they will easily wake up when sleeping, which will cause bags under their eyes. Then there is the child’s internal heat. It is recommended that the child avoid very hot foods in their daily diet and eat more vegetables and fruits.

Why does my baby blink frequently?

1. Eyelashes are mainly seen in obese infants and young children. Due to facial obesity, the lower eyelashes curl inward, causing friction and irritation to the black eyeball.

2. Viral keratitis often occurs after a cold or fever. The child suddenly starts blinking frequently, and may have symptoms such as red eyes, tearing, photophobia (fear of light), or there may be no other eye symptoms. However, examination under a slit lamp may reveal lesions infiltrating the surface of the black eyeball.

3. Television image stimulation: This is because the TV screen flickers and changes rapidly, causing over-excitement of the child’s visual center.

4. Mental stimulation is more common in children aged 5-13 years old. When blinking, the children often squeeze their eyes hard, or have spasms and twitches in the facial muscles, or twitches in the shoulder and abdominal muscles. Most of these children are scolded by their parents, have academic pressure, or are in a bad mood. Eye examination revealed no abnormalities.
