What to do if your baby gets herpes on his hands

What to do if your baby gets herpes on his hands

A baby's skin is relatively delicate and its resistance is not as strong as that of an adult. In addition, the baby's body functions are not fully developed, so they often get infected. Herpes is a common skin disease among babies. When herpes is severe, it will cause great pain to the patient and even make the baby itchy and unbearable. Therefore, when a baby has herpes, it is necessary to take the baby for treatment.

1. Local treatment:

In the first stage of dyshidrosis, the affected area can be soaked in 1:20 compound copper sulfate or 3% alum solution; in the second stage of dyshidrosis, i.e. when there are blistering lesions, the affected area can be wetted or soaked in 0.5% aluminum acetate solution or 5% alum solution.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment:

Dyshidrotic eczema of spleen deficiency and dampness excess type: the blisters are from the tip of a needle to the size of a grain of corn, translucent, with clear and thin blister fluid, occasional itching, accompanied by a pale and slippery tongue, and a moist and slippery pulse. The treatment should be based on the method of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness. The medicinal ingredients for dyshidrotic eczema are 12g of Poria cocos, 10g of Atractylodes macrocephala, 10g of Alisma orientalis, 10g of White Hyacinthus bean, 10g of Plantago seed (wrapped and decocted), 60g of fried Coix seed, 30g of fried yam, and 60g of wax gourd peel. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

Dyshidrotic eczema of internal accumulation of damp-heat: There are deep blisters on the palms and soles, which are clustered together and are the size of a needle tip. They are itchy and when the blisters are broken, yellow and sticky fluid will come out. The patient is accompanied by a red tongue with greasy coating and a slippery and rapid pulse. Dyshidrotic eczema should be treated with the method of clearing away heat and removing dampness. The medicinal ingredients for dyshidrotic eczema are 10g of Scutellaria baicalensis, 10g of Coptis chinensis, 15g of Atractylodes macrocephala, 10g of Tangerine peel, 10g of Poria cocos, 10g of Liuyi powder (wrapped and decocted), 30g of raw Coix seed, and 10g of Cortex Moutan. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

3. Diet therapy:

Patients with dyshidrotic eczema should eat more vegetables and fruits that have the effect of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, such as yam, sweet potato, winter melon, watermelon, red bean, and pumpkin. Patients with dyshidrotic eczema should eat less spicy, greasy food, fatty foods, alcoholic beverages and cheese.

4. Other therapies:

Patients with dyshidrotic eczema should reduce contact with soap, alkali, laundry detergent, detergent, gasoline, alcohol and other substances; keep their emotions open and avoid emotional upset; do not tear off the shed skin with your hands to prevent infection and pus.

Dyshidrotic eczema is a type of eczema. Like eczema, this disease is very prone to recurrence and is particularly severe in summer. Dyshidrotic eczema causes great harm to patients. Once diagnosed, symptomatic treatment should be given in a timely manner. If you want to cure dyshidrotic eczema, you must not only choose the right medicine, but also pay attention to dietary taboos. Otherwise, if you eat too many irritating foods, even the best medicine will not be able to cure dyshidrotic eczema. I hope patients can choose the right treatment method.
