A hard lump in the child's breast

A hard lump in the child's breast

Nowadays, there are safety risks in various foods. In addition, many large farms add a lot of hormones to the feed when feeding animals. Therefore, children will experience precocious puberty after eating it. If the child is precocious, it is normal for lumps to appear in the breast as a normal reaction to puberty. However, if this lump continues to grow, you need to go to the hospital for treatment in time.

Case 1:

Female breast development usually occurs between the ages of 9 and 10, starting with the nipple. When the breast nucleus begins to form, it will feel hard to the touch. Moreover, breast development does not occur on both sides at the same time, nor are the two sides the same size. If development occurs too early, it may be precocious puberty in children. Generally there is no problem. If you are worried, go to a specialized hospital for a bone age test to determine the cause.

Case 2:

Since men also have a small amount of estrogen in their bodies, this phenomenon occurs when the breasts and breast tissue are very sensitive to estrogen and when the body's sex hormone levels are disrupted, such as the feminization of male breasts, which is common in adolescent boys. For adolescent boys, it is called idiopathic gynecomastia, which may be related to the stimulation of the breast by growth hormone, estrogen and cortical hormone. At this time, there may be relatively more estrogen in the body, which will often disappear on its own in the later stages of development and no treatment is needed.

Guidance: In addition to the above-mentioned physiological hyperplasia, there is occasionally pathological hyperplasia, such as a concomitant symptom of liver disease, testicular dysfunction, adrenal disease, thyroid disease, tumors, etc. Therefore, if you suspect any of these possibilities, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid delaying the treatment.
