What to do if your child has eczema

What to do if your child has eczema

Children's skin is sensitive and can be easily harmed by the outside world. In addition, if children are not properly cared for, they are likely to contract some diseases. Some children usually don't pay attention to themselves. If you go out in the wind while sweating profusely, you may get eczema, which will make you feel very itchy. At this time, you must not let them scratch with their hands. Let's take a look at what to do when children have eczema?

If you have eczema, it is best to go to the hospital for examination first and use topical hormones. If there is still no effect, you can go to a regular hospital for surgical treatment.

First, observe whether there is any food allergy, especially allergy to animal proteins such as milk, breast milk or egg white; secondly, the mother can also pass fish, shrimp, crab, chicken, etc. to the baby through breast milk. After eating these animal foods, observe whether the baby's skin disease worsens. If it is related to the above situation, the baby should change the feeding method.

Guidance: Commonly used internal medications include diphenhydramine syrup, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, etc. Antibiotics should be added when secondary infection occurs. The topical medications should be determined based on the state of skin lesions. When there is exudation, erosion, redness or swelling, apply a 2% boric acid aqueous solution or a 0.1 reflavouring aqueous solution for wet compresses. After the exudation and erosion disappear, apply eczema cream, etc.

If a child has eczema and the condition is serious, go to the hospital immediately. Generally, let the child eat more easily digestible food, drink more water, pay attention to daily dietary hygiene, and do not eat spicy food. This may relieve the child's symptoms. Let the child exercise regularly to enhance immunity.

If a child has eczema, he/she should pay attention to a light diet. If the mother is breastfeeding, she/he should not eat spicy or irritating food. If the condition is serious, go to the hospital immediately. Let the child drink more water and pay attention to daily diet hygiene. This may relieve the child's symptoms.
