What to do if your baby has white bubbles in his throat

What to do if your baby has white bubbles in his throat

Many adults are very concerned about the physical health of their children. Some children are prone to illness due to their physical constitution, which is closely related to the child’s own immunity. The throat is also related to the child's pronunciation. When there is a problem with the throat, there will be obvious discomfort. Some children have white bubbles in the throat, so they need to pay attention to conditioning. So what should I do if my baby has white bubbles in his throat?

1. Viral and bacterial infection

The child's throat is red with white bubbles, which is probably caused by a mixed viral and bacterial infection. If the child's body temperature is normal, you can temporarily stop taking anti-inflammatory drugs and instead take heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs such as Qingkailing. However, if the child's temperature rises, he must take anti-inflammatory drugs again. Now, when feeding your child, feed him/her easily digestible food, sweet and cold food. Do not feed him/her food that is too hot or salty, as this will make him/her uncomfortable.

2. Herpetic pharyngitis

It is mostly caused by viral infection, but generally it is a mixed infection. It is mostly caused by the body's reduced resistance after catching a cold, resulting in infection with bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma and other pathogens. Patients may have varying degrees of cough, throat pain, fever, decreased appetite, etc. Active treatment and prevention are recommended. It is recommended to keep the baby warm and avoid catching cold. The baby can take erythromycin, antiviral oral liquid and local oral ulcer spray, drink more warm water, eat a light diet, avoid eating indigestible foods and spicy and irritating foods, etc.

3. Others

There are two situations. One is purulent tonsillitis, which is caused by bacterial infection. The body temperature will not be normal without antibiotic treatment. The second is viral pharyngitis, which involves herpes and ulcers in the throat and requires antiviral treatment. The disease usually heals itself in about a week. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment.
