Third, if a child falls and hits his head and there is no bleeding but a small swelling, he should be treated with cold compress immediately. If the swelling is large or red, you can apply some sesame oil or apply moistened potato slices on it as an emergency measure, which can help relieve pain and remove blood stasis. If accompanied by symptoms such as drowsiness, vomiting, etc., you should seek medical attention immediately.

Fourth, even if you fall and hit your head, don’t always suspect that it is a concussion. A concussion is characterized by a period of loss of consciousness and perception. If the baby has always had normal cognition, there will be no problem. If a child vomits, it may be caused by fright or a temporary brain concussion.
