Many children have this growth. Don't worry too much. It does not affect the child's health and is a normal phenomenon. If you don't like it, you can stop it. Moles can transform into malignant melanomas, but this transformation is extremely rare. Especially for soft and hairy moles, there is no need to treat them as long as you don’t feel any discomfort such as itching or pain.

What are the causes of moles on children?

1. Generally, we call the inner layer of the skin spots, and the surface layer of the skin moles. Spots are formed due to oxidation of excessive oil in the sebum layer or damage from ultraviolet rays; moles generally refer to black moles, whose scientific name is melanocytic nevus. Moles are clusters of mole cells that may appear anywhere on the body.

2. Some moles are inherently high-risk moles. Moles that can be seen when a baby is born are called congenital moles. There are not many congenital moles. According to statistics, 1% of newborns have moles. Not all congenital moles are dangerous at birth. Size is an important factor. Generally speaking, the larger the mole, the greater the chance of it becoming malignant in the future.
