What causes stomach pain and vomiting in children?

Children nowadays particularly dislike eating tasteless food, and the food they eat is particularly complicated. At this time, stomach pain and vomiting may easily occur. At this time, parents will be particularly worried, but it is always useless. If they want to get more effective relief, they first need to find out the reason why the child has this condition. So what are the reasons that will cause stomach pain and vomiting in children?

Many children prefer Western fast food, fried food, etc. to daily meals. As soon as the children get home from school, they eat snacks and drink cold drinks in the store. However, beverages such as coffee and cola will stimulate the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin. Fried foods, fast food and other high-oil and high-fat foods will put a great burden on the stomach.

Lack of attention to oral hygiene leads to tooth decay, which is also one of the causes of stomach problems in many children. Many children complained of stomachache and abdominal pain. When they opened their mouths and checked, they found that the surface of their molars was all black. Children's incisors begin to replace their teeth at around 7 years old, and their molars begin to replace their teeth at around 10 years old. Children of this age often swallow their food without having time to chew it carefully. If such a child feels stomachache, the first problem is tooth problem.

When children are sick, many parents like to give them medicine without authorization, not knowing that this may be counterproductive. Although it may temporarily relieve the discomfort symptoms, it may cause damage to the child's gastric mucosa. Children's gastric mucosa is rich in blood vessels, but the secretion of various digestive enzymes is small and low in activity, resulting in poor digestive function. Moreover, there are great individual differences in children's physiques and gastric mucosa. Some common antibiotics and antipyretics may not be a problem for adults to take, but children may not be able to tolerate them.

Therefore, it is not just the children’s diet that needs appropriate relief, but other aspects as well. This can help relieve physical discomfort. You should maintain a good eating habit at ordinary times. You should eat some pasta or porridge in the morning, and eat easily digestible food at noon and in the evening.
