Influenza A is a very strong type of influenza. It is very contagious. In 2007, when influenza A was spreading, many people were very scared when they heard about it. Many patients lost their lives due to influenza A. The initial symptoms of influenza A are very similar to those of our common colds. So how many days does it take for a child to recover from influenza A? The natural course of common influenza is usually 5-7 days, and patients all have fever, which can reach 38-41 degrees. The body temperature may rise sharply on the first day after onset, and then gradually decrease after two days. Occasionally, the temperature may persist for more than a week. Sometimes patients experience chills, chills, headache, myalgia, joint pain, etc. As systemic symptoms subside, respiratory symptoms become more prominent. Some patients may have persistent sore throat, cough, nasal congestion, etc. These symptoms may last for a week or longer. If there are no complications of influenza in children, most of the acute symptoms will disappear within 2-5 days and be relieved within a week. However, in a very small number of patients, such as children and the elderly, weakness or fatigue will persist for several weeks. Influenza A in children is a self-healing disease. Influenza has an acute onset and the fever is usually above 39℃-40℃. When children are infected with influenza A, their body aches are particularly noticeable due to their poor body resistance. With treatment, their body temperature will drop on its own after 3-5 days. If the child develops complications such as pneumonia or myocarditis, the treatment time will be relatively longer, requiring 5-7 days or more than 10 days; if the child still has a high fever after 2-3 days of conventional treatment, it is recommended that parents take the child to the doctor in time. Influenza A in children is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by influenza A virus. Common symptoms include fever, cough, body aches, fatigue, and mental depression. These symptoms may take two weeks or even more than two weeks to be relieved. Generally, early detection and early use of anti-influenza virus drugs can help shorten the course of the disease and relieve symptoms. For example, drugs such as oseltamivir were used in the early days to fight influenza viruses. When the body temperature exceeds 38.5℃, acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be used to reduce the temperature. Drinking more warm water, urinating more frequently, and getting adequate rest will help the condition improve as soon as possible. |
