Blood spots on the child's face

Blood spots on the child's face

Parents are more worried when their children are growing up. Sometimes they worry that their children are calcium deficient, and sometimes they worry that their children are overnourished and will mature prematurely. In fact, as long as children eat normally and eat more vegetables and fruits, they can meet the nutritional needs of their physical growth and development. Parents should not give their children too much nutritional supplements. Some children have blood spots on their faces. Parents are very scared when this happens. What should parents do at this time?

1. What should I do if my child suddenly develops bleeding spots on his face?

1. Generally speaking, it takes about 2 days for the rash to appear, and about 2 days for the rash to disappear on its own. This is common with viral infections and does not require specific treatment. Parents only need to treat their baby's cold. Another condition is allergic purpura, which is common after a cold. The rash is mostly on the knees and ankles, accompanied by abdominal pain. This condition requires hospitalization.

2. Eat less hot foods such as peppers and mutton. Eat more foods rich in vitamin C such as kiwis, tomatoes, etc., which have certain therapeutic effects.

3. If you suspect purpura, you should see a doctor immediately. This disease can be mild or severe. Different types of purpura have different causes and treatments, and the prognosis varies greatly. For example, some allergic purpura only causes physical weakness, while some types of purpura may be life-threatening.

2. The reason why blood spots suddenly appear on the child's face

1. There are many reasons why blood spots appear on children's faces. The most common ones are eczema caused by allergies, or hemorrhages under the skin formed by ruptured capillaries. Most rashes of eczema will itch, and the red spots will disappear temporarily when pressed. If the bleeding spots grow mostly around the eyes, the abdominal pressure increases due to crying, coughing, etc., causing the capillaries to rupture, and these red spots will not fade when pressed. The most common site of infection is the skin around the eyelids, and in severe cases it can affect the entire face and neck.

2. The occurrence of this disease is due to violent, sudden and prolonged muscle contraction, which suddenly increases the tension of small blood vessels in the face, obstructs venous return, and causes rupture and bleeding due to lack of oxygen, resulting in skin purpura. Some children have a history of severe coughing, some children have a history of vomiting and a history of straining due to constipation, etc., all of which may develop tension purpura. Tension purpura is a temporary skin discomfort that generally does not require treatment and will gradually disappear on its own.

3. For example, in thrombocytopenic purpura, the bleeding points are the same size as those in tension purpura, but the rash is more widely distributed, especially on the skin of the lower limbs. Routine blood examination shows thrombocytopenia and prolonged bleeding time. In addition to purpura on the skin, leukemia also has anemia, hepatosplenomegaly, fever, and the presence of immature white blood cells in the peripheral blood. Once parents find these symptoms in their children, they should take them to the hospital in time.

Parents must pay attention to this. First of all, they should observe what the blood on their children's faces is. If it is ordinary eczema, it will get better soon as they pay attention to their diet. But if it is purpura, they should take their children to the hospital for examination immediately. Therefore, it is very important to know if a child suddenly develops blood spots on his face. In severe cases, it may affect the child’s life!
